Unfolding Space is an experimental exploration into the potential of the fold, a fold within a fold and overlaid by a fold. The fold exists in all planes, physically and conceptually, embodying a sense of intrusion and a crossing of boundaries, in sighting the potential for further divergences and thus, new meanings. The folding methodologies in both the constructive and aesthetic processes demonstrate the simultaneity of perception through an intentional engagement with the physiological experience of space and materiality of the site.
