Folding Landscapes, 2014
Digital photographs
21 x 20cm

The series is a collage of hand cut and folded photographic images and lines. The lines are both fictitious through the exaggeration of the geometry, with particular attention to the fold and the folded shape, as well as an extension of what is already there. Folded landscape is a two-dimensional materialisation of the concepts and aesthetics developed throughout the three-dimensional series. Mimicking the same folding and screen printing processes I transfer the picture plane into a unified dimension where the architecture and its geometry exist alongside the unboundedness nature of the fold.
