Crane installation, 2012
Hand folded acetate, projected animation
Varying size

The work explores the convergence of the manmade and natural worlds whilst also drawing attention to form and material. Digitally printed geometric lines cut across the acetate cranes in order to draw attention to the origami form and folding processes. The projected swimming koi animation, through the experimentation created laser-like refraction on the surrounding walls giving the installation an all-encompassing environment in which to exist.
